Bumper Pool addon for normal table

Hy everyone! I just wanted to share a Bumper Pool armature I made over the last few months. On Wednesday I received the ball set and the rubbers for the posts: I made custom pieces from stainless steel, so it is very heavy and will not be knocked around by the balls when playing 😃 Here is...

    Thanks for your help!

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Got a new set today! Nothing special, but I always wanted bumper pool balls. I will make a more special update soon, with the content of the other box though 😊

Doing it opposite to the striped ones would have been nice. A yellow ball with a centered white stripe. And easier to spot for sure 🙃

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Might this be considered a display set then? I can‘t imaging any rules for more then 40 balls, playing with a table crowded like this 🙃

The colour (for example the lighter blue) and how the Q is styled, look really very different to all the Aramith balls I've seen so far. But who knows, maybe a commission by someone :)

So these are no Aramith balls then? Is it known who made that set?

    Engraved balls

Has anyone here ever played with an engraved cue ball? I am aware, that they are not perfectly balanced anymore. But compared to normal „printed on“ balls, the colour is in the engraved part of the ball. So does it chip off as easily as well? This might be a strange question indeed. But I see a...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I literally supplied a link as well. This set of balls is not for normal 6 Reds Snooker, which is indeed a smaller version of Snooker with just 6 balls. And there is another version which uses 10 red object balls. Nevertheless these games are played on a Snooker table afaik… 6 Reds PoolSnooker...

These are still available under their website. I think it is fairly new anyway, maybe 1-2 years… 6 Reds PoolSnooker But they are way over my budget though, sadly 🙃

I never realized those 2 balls are the lightweight training balls until now! This must make the final Shoot Off of the game in a tie case quite tough actually 😄

    Pool Ball Collecting.

It’s for 6reds PoolSnooker, a Snooker variant with rules adapted for normal sized Pool tables.

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Thanks for sharing! Thats the set I meant. I guess I must have seen it in here some time ago, but it would be tedious to dig through 150 pages 🙃 I wonder how many other prototypes have been made over the years, which never saw the day of light...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Wasn‘t there a set, where the balls were not just all crossed, but mixed with striped ones as well? I think I can remember something, but I am not sure. If so, is any information on that available?

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I had the same thought actually. Just buying cheap Chinese balls second hand and resell the balls again. I just couldn’t admit it here 😄

    Pool Ball Collecting.

This question is not about ball, but related. I have a damaged box, and a few sets even without boxes. It‘s rather painfully for me, to not store them properly… How do you handle this? Does anybody know a source, where I might be able to buy just empty boxes for balls? I know of the transport...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Most of you Gentlemen might already be familiar with this set. But after 1 year and an insane amout of shipping costs, I could aquire one for myself 😊 Does anyone know, who produced this balls?

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I am sorry for striding off topic, as my reply is not really about pool ball collecting. But as I read the last messages here, I thought I might share this in here anyway. I am researching games now for over 2 years, and started to make a website for them. It currently holds over 520 games...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I asked a Chinese manufacturer once about a custom set, but they told me 500 sets would be a minimum order and that was out of the question for me then. At least, if I am the only investor in that 😄 I am less then 3 years into this hobby, but from a business perspective I don‘t really...
