    Is It a Doc Frye??

One of my Doc Frye cues was built using a Titlist for the handle. Do you have any knowledge what was used for the replacement handle in your cue?

Average cost of pick up, delivery, and set up of pool table?

Prices will also be dependent upon the area of the country and experience of the mechanics. I would be skeptical of what type of the quality of the job that might be done for some of the prices outlined in this thread. My experience is with 9' Gold Crowns and I would expect to pay anywhere from...

    Pocket size

I appreciate your comments above and in your previous post. My local room has one table with tight pockets and other than the best players in the room, many find it difficult. I am in the process of swapping-out one GC I for another and in all my research talking to local and nationally...

Have you cut back on visitors playing with you on your home table?

No Visitor Zone Thankfully I have my own table, a Gold Crown I, but our house is off-limits to any and all visitors. I spoke to a friend a few minutes ago who has two tables, a 10 foot Centennial and a 9 foot Gold Crown I, in his home and he and his wife are not allowing anyone into their home...

    Home table sales....?

No. The need for social distancing should prevent any activity involving the purchase, moving, and installation of a table.

    Original by Palmer Value??

First Catalog Model 8 Your cue is a First Catalog Model 8 and by your description and pictures needs a shaft and possibly a refinish. If you're goal is to sell the cue, my recommendation would be to list it on eBay at a low opening price to attract interested buyers who will bid it up to it's...

    Cue market

I think it's a bit early in this crisis to pose a question asking for market predictions. It's like trying to predict the outcome of LeMans during the second lap. Personally, as this drags-on, I would not be surprised to see prices tank as players and collectors are out of work for 4-6-8 weeks...

    Vintage Pool Cues?

Style, value, history. Some people favor and appreciate the style of certain vintage cues. While many vintage can command a good deal of money to acquire, others are a very good value. Then there is the historical aspect of cues made by cue makers who advanced the art of cue making.

It bears a resemblance to a PM-6 but for several reasons it is not a Palmer.

That is even different than the code earlier in this thread. I am just going to bring the ball box to the store and ask them to match it.

    Gold Crown Paint codes

I brought the Sherwin-WIlliams paint formula for white to my Sherwin-Williams store and didn't make out so well. I was told the product was no longer available but they could convert the code. The attached pictures show what I received. I will return and see whether they made a mistake or if...
