    How would you do this?

I'd bank the 8 to the middle of the table and lock them on the backside of the 10.

Check out this foul that everyone at the table missed

That is a couple brutal errors by the official. I think he was the one that was having trouble racking in a 9b match between Jasmin and Pia last year. Wings weren't tight so Jasmin was able to power the 9 towards the corner every break.

    Pool Ball Collecting.

IKEA storage for the win! Simple, practical, and inexpensive. Love all the sets of carrom balls.

    Diamond Professional (IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!)

Yup, that is exactly what i'm doing. The camera is plugged into a switched outlet with the table light. Been running into issues with the cameras overheating, so i've got a USB fan and stick-on heat sinks on the way.

    "Breaking" in a new table

Disclaimer: I am *not* Dr. Dave. New table, so gotta figure out the breaks. My usual starting points: 10-ball: about half a diamond left of center, thick on the 1, half tip high, maybe 60% power. 9-ball: few inches off the left rail, thick on the 1, stun, 70% power. Tweak from there depending...

    Diamond Professional (IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!)

I had the cover *months* before the table arrived. Also the blinds are on timers. Close early afternoon and open at sunset (west-facing). I've thought of everything, gents.

Darren Appleton vs Earl Strickland on 4 pocket Diamond table

It would be a fun table to play on for novelty, but I don't think I've met a man that would want one. I think pool halls should each have 1 weird table like this just for character.

    Diamond Professional (IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!)

Got some good video today dialing in my break (had to make opposite adjustments from what I usually do). GoPro died right after my first 9b break, so missed that progression. The vid is coming though. 🤣

    10 Ball Rules History

Could be, I haven't used or even held one. I can get a really tight rack easily with the standard Diamond plastic rack on my table without any issues. The way players were driving the 10 to the bottom corners made the bad racks pretty obvious though. With multiple officials too. Maybe table...

    10 Ball Rules History

With a template. At a Predator event earlier this year i saw Shane make the 10 in the corner like 4 times in a single match, and he wasn't the only one. Granted it was due to bad racks, but if that's the way they're playing, it should definitely spot up. Seems the Aerorack isn't very good...

Us mail is the worst! 😖

Had a carbon wheelset for my mountain bike disappear for a day. Tracker said delivered, wasn't there, no image. I called them and they said "just wait until tomorrow and it should show up"... It's a $2500 package!!! Dafuq you talking about?

Us mail is the worst! 😖

I'm fine with USPS, but it's so regionally dependent. Some areas are really bad, some are great. I *despise* FedEx. I know i've posted this in other threads here, but I've had so many expensive packages (bike parts mostly) show up damaged. It's like they're testing the packaging engineers...

Did going from a low-end cue to high-end improve your game?

When i switched from a Players cue with a standard shaft (great cue still, wish i'd kept it) to my first Predator (the cheapest i could get with a wrap and a 314-2), the difference was enormous. Certainly a learning curve, but it opened up so many possibilities that weren't there with the Players.

It is, but i don't want the nut-buster corners. :ROFLMAO:

    9-Ball needs to be fixed

One break format i've liked is the WPBA alternating every 2 breaks (only issue being keeping track). Or the Predator best of 3 sets (i know it's 10b, so best of 3 races to 5 would i think be analogous).

    Diamond Professional (IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!)

Bunch of y'all worried about my windows. Do people really have that much trouble keeping the cue ball on the table? I can't remember the last time i lost the cb off the table and it was likely a bounce off a jump. I've got a GoPro mounted mid table near the ceiling and a TV on the wall at the...

    Diamond Professional (IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!)

1-piece is the default for the ProAm and Professional (and i assume the Paragon), but 3 is an option. I'm on the 3rd floor, so a 1-piece wasn't going to happen (although technically it would have fit up the stairs).
