How thin was it? My first DBK had 20.65mm (~8.13''), it plays awesome with a very stiff shaft.

I don't know, how to say it right... I understand he had to cut off the forearm, but I don't like the points so near to joint. The older version looks much harmonically to me. No offence.

I think, ddadams means in general, not this specific blank. @ddadams The answer in general is yes. All full splice cues made by DBK I could take a closer look since the last 5-6 years were very close to perfection.

Every full splice maker can make sharp points nowadays. Rauenzahn, Davis, Hill etc. At least they can be considered sharp ;) BTT Great job, Larry.

Usually his points have the same length even on 6 pointer full splices.

Brunswick 360 style has full splice over butterflies. Here is a quite the opposite.

The very first attempt to combine full splice butterlies with long points. Still amazing even with this simple wood combo.
