Would this be legal for APA and/or BCA

Apa Well, it may be legal in the APA IF YOU USE YOUR FULL CUE. Jump shots ARE legal in the APA, but NOT JUMP CUES. So in theory, you could use that tool, as long as you intend to jump with a full length cue. I am guessing that was not your intention though. Jason

Okay, I am about to send my cue out to have it refinished and rewrapped with leather. I also intend to get 2 identical OB classic shaft blanks custom matched to my cue and the ringwork matched. The joint is a uniloc. I was considering using proficient billiards for the refinish. They have...

Do you take advice from players below your level?

OK, well I appreciate that you gave it a good look. I understand what you are saying, and can see the merit in your explanation. I do agree with playing through the center of the table to eliminate scratches. I play very similar routes with the same logic. In this exact context, I saw the...

Do you take advice from players below your level?

very good post and a great example of different options. I absolutely see the last 2 examples as being my choices. I play both of those patterns a LOT. I feel a have an extremely high chance of executing either one successfully. I think I would favor the seocnd to last example, but if for some...

    Break Cues and Playing Cues

I agree with you too! The only real reason to not use your playing cue is to preserve the tip. I can understanding preferring to use a break cue, but to feel that you could not, under any circumstances break with your playing cue is absurd. So what finally happened? What did he end up...

Production Cues Still Using Spliced Points?

Predator sneaky petes. I have an LE willie hoppe predator, which is basically a dressed up sneaky with veneers and a wrap. It is a true spliced cue. Keep in mind there are a lot of CNC'd cues with sharp points too! Many cues are made with inlaid points, then sharpened up by hand. Not a...

314 vs. OB Classic --- Deflection

I will def post up once I get a chance to try out the classic. My order is in, and I expect to actually get it in aprox 2 weeks. I am hoping it is just what I am looking for too. From what I can tell, it should fall somewhere between the 314 and the OB1 as far as stiffness. I was using a...
