Ray had at least 5 major tapers as standard, with over a dozen (maybe much more) stored as all his shafts were turned on a CNC lathe. The major tapers are marked accordingly on his shaft with code letters.

Yes. Lol! It trends towards 2 syllables, if that makes sense. If you sound out all the vowels quickly enough, it would sound awfully close to 2 syllables even if you trying to do 3 syllables. Similar to Ruiz trending to 1 syllable (Rweeth)

Only soft C and Z are pronounced in most of Spain as a th (per what they call Distinción). Any S that you might hear as a th is a bit not traditional (what they call Ceceo - which is only in a few regions in Spain. Is Jonás from one of those regions. I wouldn’t have thought so. It is funny...
