Ironman is another one that I miss from this thread. When we both lived in Denver we had some pretty good battles.

It's kind of funny I just was in a huge slump and one of the things that was causing me to hit the CB off center was...my cue touching my side during my stroke. I moved it out and turned a little more and started hitting the center CB again. I still had a lot of work to do on other things but...

That is a beautiful cue! I played with my Shurtz/Bob Owen yesterday. I took it to the pool hall just to hit a few with it. It's not my regular player because I couldn't stand it getting stolen. I couldn't stop playing with it and shot with it for hours. Delightful! Sounds like Gabe's cues...

Unfortunately I agree. This year I had to make do with watching the daily highlights and it was ok. I was too busy to watch it all anyway so it was nice to just get a recap at the end of the day.

I agree with everything here. I figured out a long time ago that giving out referrals to 'help my friends' always blew up in my face. I had to give out referrals to help my clients. In other words, be mindful of who you are really trying to help. Recommending a plumber who desperately needs...

I agree. I think they misunderstood the rule in the first place and thought that it meant CB and/or OB had to be driven to a different rail. I argued with the TD about it but to no avail. I wish I could remember exactly where it was but it was 1995-2000-ish. So based on where I was living...

I don't remember what league or tournament but for a while there was a rule that if a ball was frozen to a rail then the CB and/or the OB had to contact a different rail. If you hit a frozen ball and the CB contacted the rail the ball was frozen on and nothing else hit a rail, it was a foul...
