Why not do away with the 9 on the break altogether and have it re-spotted as in 10 ball? Also, I'd love to see those stupid jump shots banned. I find kick shots much more elegant (and challenging).

I concur. it kind of reminds me of tennis back in the 90's, when Ivanisevic and a few others would win a match showing no skills other than serving 30 aces.

Does that only take matches played under matchroom's umbrella into consideration? Like I said, in my opinion it's very subjective; even statistical models like fargorate are rather useless for predicting match outcomes when there's only a few points difference between tyhe top players.

By which metric? He's #3 on the money leaderboard as well as the fargo top 100. I think in the end it is rather subjective and boils down to preference.
