I'm confused. Why would the confiscate your cue? The only Ivory is the ferrule, right? An even so how could they justify that? Wouldn't that fall under the Ex Post Facto rule?

Thank you! When the cues are at the house I usually hang them and just use the butterfly for transport. But I don't like leaving the cues hanging when I'm at work, as I don't want them stolen and will start putting them in the safe when I'm not home. I'll look into the Porper hard case...

Love where this is going, all of my research about tonal qualities of wood seemed to go back to musical instarments. I'm fairly certain musical qualitys of wood mean just as much to pool cues and the way they play as instruments. That's why Bushka demanded straight grain woods for all his cues...
