    Dynaspheres Price Increase

Whatever it is they do, I don't like how they play. The shots feel dampened down. They play differently than Aramith which has become the standard.

    Dynaspheres Price Increase

I am not fond of these balls. They absorb energy more so than transferring it.

Single layer tip in between an Elkmaster and Triangle or Lepro?

Thank you. I have become a Elkmaster Dud that I make myself guy. I have some good Elks now that aren't Duds. The guy I play a lot used to use a Zan tip that they no longer make. If you like this, then he might and I will get a few and try it on something. It sounds like they've perfected their...

Content for the old 9-ball rules--Push out--ball in the Kitchen

It looks like the content for the old 9-ball is almost non-existent. The 9-ball portion of the video posted by Greg Cantrell above starts at 2:02 the first game no push occurred or no scratch on the break. Maybe later in the match we will see that. Steve Mizerak is involved maybe some of...

Content for the old 9-ball rules--Push out--ball in the Kitchen

I grew up playing 9-ball by the old rules but played mostly 8-ball for a long time, then the rules had changed when I was exposed to Pool Leagues. Does anyone know of any video content of Pool matches played under the old rules? If so please post links.

    Lowest deflection kielwood

I was using the old Jacoby Hybrids bought 2nd hand. The best playing shaft I had was one that was turned down a little and had a little flex in it. I think that shaft with just a little more flex would have been perfect, but I went back to the regular maple. I intend on doing a little back and...

    Lowest deflection kielwood

I don't even have a joint. I'm playing with basically a stick (solid piece of wood) worked down into the shape of a cue with a 3/8 x 10 pin. It looks horrific but plays awesome. My shaft is from another cue (SouthEast) that has a reddish-brown phenolic with a brass ring. It plays great. Best...

Are Pool League Members Allowed to Gamble Outside of League Play?

Im sure people that are league players sometimes gamble, but in my opinion that is mostly not so. I think Pool is growing but not in the direction of anything to do with gambling, but I'm sure some gamble small at times, but probably not many times. I don't think leagues could tell their...

    Natural Wood Shafts

Thank for reaching out, but I'm short and a 30 in shaft doesn't work so well for my short arms. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense to people, but I can't play right with an extension either I have tried. I just go for the bridge.

    Natural Wood Shafts

I'm interested in regular wood shafts that are already 3/8 x 10. Pm me the details of the shaft if you are interested in selling.

    Traditional wood shafts making comeback?

I tried the first Jacoby Hybrids when people started going to another shaft. There was a difference but it wasn't the kind of difference I thought it would be. They were stiff and sometimes you need the shaft to bend a little on nuance shots. I eventually tried a carbon fiber shaft a friend...

3D Printed One Pocket Ball Rack

What a nerdy thing to do! I love it. If you wanted to and found easier ways of doing this. You could sell these to all the rooms in the US, where 1-pocket is played.

Jump Break Tip that works good for both jobs

I'll be trying a new tip before too long, but one question I think remains: Does the tip (Kintrol) that is used on the Propel Jump Cue break and Jump well? I need more break shafts!

Jump Break Tip that works good for both jobs

I may end up having to agree with you. So far my jump tip (White Diamond) does great for jumping but it needs a firmer stroke than is controllable. It does ok as a breaker for 9 ball but really is weak for 8 ball, so I use my BK3 for that. I hope Jadens tip is the magic touch that does both...
