How to clean a shaft..my way!

all I know is that magic erasers use bleach as their cleaning ingredient. This is fine for the ferule, but will damage the wood over time. fyi.

    Predator Cue - IKON9 vs P3

The p3 cue is design for maximum playability, I play with a p2 and love it. The ikon series will have a different feeling and is geared to play well, but more thought is put into aesthetics, which makes them more expensive. My advice would be to get the P3 if you dont care about ornamentation...

    Update on Denver pool rooms

hey, dougie. I was talking about having beautiful equipment to play on and in my opinion hanks doesnt have that. They're not terrible tables, but its not a room full of diamonds. Next time read the context that the quote is pertaining to. Thought they taught that at ivy league schools.

    Update on Denver pool rooms

That place doesnt need new people to go there for it to be full of unemployed hooligans, its already full of them, Hanks" home of the air barrel" Billiards is a sketchy little place, sorry. Yeah, I know theres a ton of history there and I can respect that, but don't pretend its at the same type...

    Update on Denver pool rooms

Does rack em still have that Gem of a Diamond Pro Am that no one takes care of? They wont brush the cloth, vaccum it or clean the balls. Not to mention its raggedy cloth and the fact that they rent it out to bangers who beat it to death. Man that could be an amazing table with a little tlc, it...

Record vs. the 9 ball ghost

railrider: thats what I'm saying. I've always been a cash player, so I've never been ranked or anything, but I've asked ppl in the past that know my game and they say I'm a AA or AAA. But I have played against many "B" players and they cannot beat the ghost on a 9fter. No way. If you do, your...

Dress Code for Gold Crown Billiards, Erie, PA

I understand why his pool hall is like this, there needs to be a room for different types of people. If every hall had the small type of clients there wouldnt be rooms for gentlemen. I know for a fact that there are a lot of halls that allow the "gangster" wear and the fact is a lot of older...

Record vs. the 9 ball ghost

I play on a triple shimmed GC against the ghost, so sometimes I forget how easy the ghost could be on an easy Big table, a B player is not beating my table against the ghost, my bad.

Would you rather break with leather, or phenolic?

I just ordered a samsara for my bk2, Ive been breaking with original phenolic for 3 years, but I think its a though to control and yes all my cueballs have c shaped cracks in them. I want controll, its not like Im trying to hit them as hard as I can and I need to use phenolic to hit it even...

Is there one particular ball you like / dislike?

wow a lot of people say the 6. I always wondered why they didnt make the 2 and the 6 lighter colors in the TV ball sets, I mean they do it for the 4 and 7, but the 2,6 and 8 often look similar in the streams. Light green!lol

Is there one particular ball you like / dislike?

Its a little tougher to see the spot I need to hit on the 8 ball, other than that I really like the "money ball". Its the most fun to make.

Record vs. the 9 ball ghost

Sorry, but I don't think a B player can beat the ghost on a big table. Maybe here or there but not very likely. I do agree however that what the break leaves make a huge difference. I recently used the magic rack and I found a pattern to make a ball in the corner and the 1 just misses the side...
