    Predator 314 Ferrule question

I second this. The ferrule material predator uses is kinda lame, tends to crack, doesn’t like glue, seems cheap IMO.

    House cues

I always liked the older McDermott house cues, but on my "house" table which is a shop table, I just have a variety of old school to new school cues, old Viking, Mali, McDermott, helmstetter, dufferin...just a variety of decent, not low end, but nothing high end to choose from. Every now and...

    Draggin a$$ across the carpet!

I certainly would never do it at a buddy's house that has a nice carpet, but at my local pool hall the carpet is filthy...and the oriental rug underneath the table at my shop is even filthier. But if it were a nice pool hall I would not, I often just wipe it on the palm of my left hand, or in my...

    Last 4 Ever Tip Tool

I initially bought the knickel/dime combo tool but end up buying the each individually to keep in my case. The combo one is less abrasive so I use it as the final tip shaping on my lathe if someone is specific. Without a doubt the last tip tools I'll buy

    Pierce 60" full splice wrapless

Hot damn this cue is right up my alley. Sure is a beaut, can't imagine it won't sell soon but if it's still available in a couple weeks I'll be all over it. Good luck with your sale, this cue is too sweet. What kind of pin?

How many of you play multiple cues?

Golf was my first game as well and I feel the same way about cues. I have 4 different playing cues and they all have there time and place depending on the game and different playing conditions. That said I could play with any of them at any time but I find it easier to switch cues than to...

anyone else have glazing issues with PRECISION LAYERED TIPS (SEARING)

I thought they glazed quickly as well. Good tips but they all felt a little too spongy and not enough springy. I also had to retrim mushrooming 3 times on a medium. It's all preference obviously but I like the "Thoroughbred" tips from blue grass a lot more, specifically the medium.

Put Earl Strickland on Team USA in 2017 Mosconi Cup

Earl definitely has my vote, as long as he keeps his focus on the game

    Calcutta for a tournament

A Calcutta is the player's money. It's a bet amongst players and sweaters. If you and I make a bet on something, why should anyone else get a percentage?

    Earl strickland stroke analysis

Earl's stroke is sweet, all those criticizing should challenge him to a money game even though he wouldn't waste his time to embarrass you. His stroke may not please your eyes but he gets through the cue ball CLEAN as can be, Earl hits a force follow with inside better than anyone that's ever...

New OB-1+ Shaft...not smooth like glass

The 30" OB 1+ I ordered from seyberts was like that. I sealed, waxed, and polished it and it was perfect. I don't know why they come like that but it seems common

    Tips

Dr. Cheng sells Hirano cue tips on eBay, they're 4 layer but thicker layers than the norm. The medium was great, the two days after I installed it then became much too hard without the grip. I've been wanting to order the softs but haven't gotten to it. They also take a few weeks to arrive in...
