    Coos Cues Joint and threads?

Honestly, don't want to bug him. He's building a cue for me and has said that he only does it as a 'hobby' and didn't want 'needy' customers to ruin it. I don't want to be one of those 'needy customers'. Also wanted to learn what other Coos customers thought of the pins and joints.

    Coos Cues Joint and threads?

John Chaplin of Coos Cues tells me that he has been banned from this site, which is too bad, seems like a very nice guy. Can anyone here tell me what thread size he uses? I saw a photo of one of his brass pins, but no description of size, etc. Thanks!

In My problem with roundabouts is drivers who treat them as red lights. If everyone entered them as 'skid pads' I'd be good with them. Simple concept, certainly. But too many drivers have minds even too simple to grasp the simple concept. Timid drivers are the problem.

I had a couple of those Suburbans with 454 gas engines in the 90's. 3/4 ton chasis, 4WD, really good on the highway and turns, stiff suspension. No idea what my gas mileage was, so obviously it was not a concern. Just ordered a GMC 2500 HD 4WD with 6.6L gasoline. Dealer offered to 'let me off...

That worked for me until all the gun safes were full and there isn't room for another anywhere in the garage or the house. Now any new gun is obvious. Last time I bought one for me and one for the wife. That worked, but it won't work often.

265' s had only one tail light as did the 275. Deck shape is wrong for a Daytona. Not likely to see two of any of those models at the same time unless it's in Maranello.

    One import table vs another

I have an 8 foot Brunswick 'furniture' table. 3 piece slate. Solid table. I know a lot of folks here would look down their noses at this table because it's not a GC or Diamond. But it has seen a lot of use. The larger pockets are perhaps a bit of a down side, but honestly, for family and...

Is there such a thing as natural talent? Some say yes, I do not think there is?

It's a combination, but it has to start with an elevated level of 'natural talent' or 'aptitude'. I think when we recognize that we have some level of this natural ability, we are more prone to keep working at it and develop those talents. But most of us don't have enough of the natural...
