The logo was on the part that was missing so didn’t matter for me. Yes it is Snakewood and Ebony. If it doesn’t come out easy for you, just plug it with wood or phenolic and go from there. If you don’t want to preserve it then bore it out a plug it.

They are comparable. Ultraskin's and SIB's were once sold together by Tom (RIP). Richard took over the SIB line around 2017-18 I think. I like how it plays and has held its shape well. As far as my ability to decern, it is not drastically better or worse for me. Solid performer with no complaints.
