Aramith Duramith balls getting dirty quicker than others?

Thanks. I see I got carried away! It worked well once and I started using it all the time. I even have a container of the Aramith Cleaner, I just didn't think to use it. Is that alcohol / Cleaner mix something that's on the label or just a preferred method of cleaning?

Aramith Duramith balls getting dirty quicker than others?

That 8 ball - I found the exact same recommendation you did for cleaning balls. My first set that came with the table ended up looking like that after their warm Palmolive bath. That's why I have Restorer! Worked great, the balls looked like new after that.

Aramith Duramith balls getting dirty quicker than others?

Thanks. What do I do at this point about the excess Restorer on the balls? Should I just let it wear off? I buffed them pretty well, I'm not sure doing that again will help. * Just went and buffed all with a clean, cotton rag. Didn't clean up much but they definitely got slicker as I buffed...

Aramith Duramith balls getting dirty quicker than others?

I've been playing with Aramith Premiers for 2 years now and recently pick up a set of Aramith Duramith Tournament Pros. I've been playing with them for a month now and they are dirtier than my Premiers were after 2 years. They clean up just fine but what gives? Anyone else experiencing this...

Aramith Premier Balls - Fake or Just Not Balanced Very Well?

Hmmm. Well, maybe the Premier were legit. They polish up fine and have been used quite a bit. I've been doing some looking around online. You're right, you have to buy new (or from someone you know and trust), there are just too many knock offs floating around. Who would have thought even pool...

Aramith Premier Balls - Fake or Just Not Balanced Very Well?

Yeah, I had a bad feeling about those Premiers from the day I got them. I thought I was just being paranoid. Glad to know I'm not paranoid .... just stupid!

Aramith Premier Balls - Fake or Just Not Balanced Very Well?

Odd question, but what the heck. 2 years ago I purchased a set of new Aramith Premier balls (Aramiths entry level balls). Craigslist deal, there was no plastic on the box, the balls were new and it was in an Aramith box. Got an odd feeling about the guy and asked where they came from. He said...

Red Powers Pool Tables? Anyone ever hear of these?

I ran across a Red Powers pool table. I was told it from a company in the 1970's located in Redwood City CA. I can't find a thing online about this. Has anyone ever heard of a Red Powers pool table? I attached a few pictures. This one seems to have Brunswick rails which do not fit perfectly...

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

It probably was an older version, but I was alone with my issue. They sent me 2 cues and both tips came off in under 10 breaks. The tips were rather soft for a break cue. Are the new tips Bakelite? How do those compare to phenolic break tips? I had the J&J break cue with phenolic tip. It was too...

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

I use the Rhino carbon fiber break shaft with a J&J 25 oz. break shaft butt. The only problem I had (and posted up here) was the tip kept coming off. I took it to a local shop and they glued it on so it actually stayed on. Played with it for about 9 months and changed the tip to an UltraSkin...

    Jungblut tables mfg dates

Thanks. I ran across one in pieces, free. It has the ball return. Pretty rough, not even worth it as a project considering what I see them going for. But, I have a friend who is looking for a freebee and he likes the "old style", this must be late 1800, early 1900. So, might be a good choice for...
