I don't think the tip matters, but personal preference I get more spin on the cue ball with a softer tip, which allows more of a spin transfer to the object ball, potentially allowing me to bank wider angles with more spin. I am definitely not a pro, but I think i can identify subtleties in my stroke and even with others. Subtleties that, when watching other players, can identify as weaknesses in their game. Those weaknesses make it easier for me to identify safety opportunities, even if those safety opportunities...

Thanks. I played REALLY well this past week. I played a 6 (who dropped to 5) and won 38-13. I'm still riding high on that win and eager to get back to the pool hall and practice.

I can understand the disappointment for sure... Though I have had a hard time convincing my team to let me play higher SL players. I want the challenge and pressure, they want an easier route to the win...
