I hear the commentators say that the pocket sizes are narrower than they used to be, that they are tighter on "this" table than "that" table or whatever, but no one ever gives an actual dimension. Why? In american pool, the pros are typically playing on 4" pockets vs more standard tables...

New here and still learning how to find stuff on here. Was wondering if there is a section of the forum where people post photos of pool tables they are restoring? I am fixing up an old table and am just interested in seeing what others are working on. Thanks
