    Thoughts on break shafts?

    After 14yrs I'm thinking about getting an upgrade for my good ole faithful McDermott break cue. Butt itself is still OK, shaft has lots of dents and wear. Bit on the fence on buying a new shaft or whole new cue. Is it really worth buying a new cue if the butt is still OK? Not really sure ...

    Seeing a lot of Europeans switching from Predator to Longoni .. Seemingly the "next best thing" in Pool over here. For Carom they are simply the best IMO, not even close. But a pool cue is not a carom cue of course :) Anyone ever used one? Is it really that good? Players I've talked to claim...
