This forum is becoming low class....

I'm pretty much done after this so feel free to bash all you want. I really like this forum, the knowledge displayed here is very valuable in any pool players eyes and I express my thanks to all the people who have helped me in my journey. Anyway, there are two reasons that back up my...

Bridge arm elbow locked or bent?

Do you extend your bridge arm to full length (elbow locked) when shooting or do you have it bent a little. I find that when you lock it for a long time you get really tired... 1st Picture shows a more relaxed elbow. 2nd Picture shows a locked up elbow.

Pro's don't need that fancy $5000 crap to do well

All the pro's use a very high class cue, I know they get them for free because they are sponsored, but is it really necessary? The idea that they are giving the smaller pool players is that you need a really expensive cue to be the best. I would love to see one of the pro's use a cheap Players...

Here is a good warm-up drill.

I just ran this out today, which suprised me. Anyway this I think is a good drill to do before you start a game. The 2 balls in front of the side pockets are there just in case you mess up on your position play, its like 2 freebies. The way I started is illistrated in the diagram below...

What is considered a run-out, or break and run?

I was wondering, if you break the 9-ball rack get the 7 in, then you run the 1,2 and 3, then you combo the 4 into the 9 for the win. Is this considered a break and run? Also could someone define a run-out for me? Can a run-out be 3 balls? Thanks everyone.

This is a game of 9-ball, I run until this point and then I usually miss or scratch, and my opponent goes on to win the game. What do you do here, is this shot possible? http://CueTable.com/P/?@3HLIk1IUVy2PKlO@

How close is your bridge hand from the cue ball when shooting?

Just wondering... I heard that your suppost to have about 6 - 8 inches between the cue ball and your bridge during regular shooting. And a longer bridge when your breaking or making major draw/english shots, so your cue can flex a little. Thanks again guys.

Anyone ever heard of Kaiser cues? Or should I just go with a Viking?

If so, are they worth buying? If not, then I'm trying to choose between a Mcdermott and a Viking. Any suggestions?
