Has anyone switched out the pockets for a Gold Crown I, where the pockets are smoother for the cue shaft? I got rid of the original pockets that left black residue, but the newer rubber ones still grip. I was wondering if there was a leather, etc alternative that someone came up with? Thanks...

I have plantar fascitis and flat feet, so my feet get sore. I probably am just going to get some 1/2 inch pad and thickest nice carpet over it, but was wondering about memory foam. Anyone used memory foam for their pool room? Is that doable? I can think of some possible negatives, but not...
