How about combining Alt. Break + Winner Break?

Let's say the match starts off with Alternate Break, then once someone reaches the hill, it goes to winner break? That way the person who is behind has one last chance to string racks together take the win. Just throwing out an idea.

Is there any problems with reducing the weight of the cue?

Let's say you want to reduce a 20 oz to 19 oz and the cue has the interchangeable weight system. If you were to bring the weight down one ounce would it be exactly the same as purchasing a stock 19 oz? Or would it be different since it started out as 20 oz?

Which way would be best if you want to pull the taper further back?

Let's say you want to modified a shaft to be 12.75 mm with a extremely long taper almost all the way to the joint, similar to SVB's shaft. Which is easier - starting with a 12.75 mm shaft with 10 in taper or with a 13mm shaft with 10 in taper? Which shaft would you prefer to work with to get...

Does the diameter of the tip and shaft always match?

I am ordering a cue and it allows you to pick 2 tip size (13.25mm or 13mm). The standard shaft size for this cue is 13.25mm. Now, if I choose the option for a 13mm tip, does this mean my shaft is also 13mm or do they mount it on a 13.25 shaft? since you guys built cues, I figure you guys...

    Shane's break on 10 ball.

Shane has a beautiful break on the 10 ball where he consistantly make the cueball jump backwards. Does anyone know how he does it? I tried to figure it out on my own with some experiments, but my cueball tends to fly off the table, usually to the right. :p

What are the pros looking for when they do this.

This might be a silly question, but I have to ask. When I watch the pros play, sometimes I notice when they have a long angle shot, they would take a moment to walk and sight the path of the OB into the desire pocket, then they walk back to their CB position and get down and shoot. It seems to...
