I have three shafts - lets just call them A,B,C and two Butts, B1 and B2 I roll all three shafts by themselves, no problems. some very very minor roll on one of them but it is so small its negligible. I roll both butts, perfectly fine. Now i attach shafts A,B & C to B1 - all of it rolls...

I have made a decision. gonna get a PJ of Bender, SW, and Bluegrass. I got the cocobolo bender on the way from pharoah. gonna get a BEM SW or Bluegrass..and then get ebony for the other..that will be a nic ePJ collection. Now let me see how many i can find that fits my needs:D

I was thinking of possibly buying a southwest plain jane (already paid for pharoah's bender) but the only small annoyance is that its linen wrap. Does anyone know if SW will put on a leather wrap? any idea of cost and time? I would hesitate to get it done by anyone else cuz i know the value...

Any way to "unexpand" the joint area of the shaft? I have two bender shafts that when they first arrived, they fit tight, then got tighter..now i cant even screw it in more than half way. is there some way to make it fit again? put baby powder or somethign to absorb the moisture or water...
