my friend found an article from bob meucci regarding balance point from 2002
he discusses the ideal balance point should be around 16.5 inches from the bottom of the butt plate (+/- 0.5 inch)
and gives his resoning for this

i am finding it does not stay on the tip as long as the green
a respected member who i asked about this told me "they do seem very similar, if there is a difference I would say it's the other way around, the blue seems to coat the tip better and stay on about the same."
