    Re-Cut points

I am thinking of having an Ebony nosed cue with Tiger Maple re-cut points with Ebony again inside the points. What dimension is used for the Tiger Maple re-cuts? 1/4" width or is this too wide? I figure the width would be similar to what 4 veneers are in width. Appreciate any and all...

    Changing trim rings

I was wondering if it is possible to change the trim rings at joint and butt cap on a cue if you want to change the color of the phenolic trim rings? Think Southwest style trim rings but not necessarily on a Southwest cue. Also can a cue with no wrap be cut down so a wrap can be added? Thanks

    Legendary Cue Makers

The legendary cuemakers such as Balbushka & Szamboti seemed to use Maple for the nose on 98% or better of their cues. And you always hear about how great these cues hit and play even to today. My question is MAple still the best playing wood for the nose of the cue? Or has the newer...

Aiming by use of table diamonds

Hi Louis, I watched you play for the first time at the "Best of the West" tournament at Hard Times and I was very impressed to say the least. I was wondering if there is a system for using the diamonds on the table to establish the cut angle for the shot? Such as side pocket to corner pocket...

    Coring of forearm

I know that Ebony and other exotic wood forearms are sometimes cored for stability and weight. My question is do you ever core Maple forearms and use a wood such as Purple Heart as the core for the purpose of adding extra front end weight? Would a Purple Heart core in a Maple forearm change...
