Anyone know of some tournaments in the Austin, TX area or where I may be able to find some info? I have asked a couple of places I have been to and they don't know of any.

I am going to be in N Alabama for a few weeks in May possibly into June. Are there any tournaments, preferrably 8 ball, worth getting into there?

I have recently purchased a Predator cue. Then after looking through some of these threads, a lot of people are bashing the Predators. Myself, I think it plays very well. Don't know if it's just that someone purchased a cue and misused it or didn't take care of it. If there is bad craftsmanship...
