I finally got a 9' Gold Crown! never thought it would happen, still in shock, review

After asking questions, calling all over, It just fell into place, was looking at GC III's, but this was too good to pass up. A like new GC IV with 4 dome light, house cues/2bridges, perfect Centennial balls and wood rack. 2150, It was 650 over budget, but this was soooo nice I had to go for...

Safe to transport a Brunswick GC on an open trailer?

Safe to move on a 5*10 open trailer? will the slates be OK if I lay them flat and wrap each one in blankets on top of each other and strap down? I know they have wood backing so it should be OK but you know it can get bumpy on those trailers, freaks me out a little. Any experience with this...

Gold Crown slate thickness on I,II,III, 1 1/4? brunstone?

I have been looking at Gold Crowns lately, I have seen the brunstone on I's and II's which looks rust colored and thinker, 1 1/4 inches. My question is, Are all the real slates 1 inch on the Gold Crowns? or did Brunswick make any 1 1/4 slate that's not brunstone for GC's. I have never played...

Buying a Gold Crown, some questions or home model...help

I'm probably going to buy a used 9' Gold Crown, but tossed around the idea of a used home model to save money. Does anyone know if the pockets on home models are cut the same as the Gold Crown? do the rails play similar? whats the biggest difference? Are all the models of Gold Crowns pockets...

New King of the Hill DVD's available!

What? nobody excited? :D at least they are not 49.95, lol. This would have been good news a few months back, too bad. If the IPT was run by someone other then KT, and started out with smaller payouts, it may have had a chance:( Oh well, still holding out hope, but my 60% is down to a 5%...

Players, PLEASE build a players association.

A solid foundation started by the pro players is vital to the health and future of the sport, PLEASE someone make an effort to get a players association together. I know it's going to be very hard, but it has to happen. This has to take place regardless if the IPT continues or not, you need a...

Disappointed, not mad, was an interesting attempt.

Nope, not mad at the IPT, kinda mad at KT for doing this thing the wrong way, glad he at least tried, and happy some did make some money and the show was short and fun, but it was way too much too soon, and the pie in the sky that was being thrown around was sure to come back and haunt the IPT...

    Poll about the IPT

I think he will attempt to pay the entire amount, but certainly could see him making a % offer saying it's the only way the next tournament happens, but that's a mistake and the real option would have been to not have such a huge payout in the first place! BUt I do think a revised IPT will...

The 3 things you like best about the IPT

OK, everyone, even the hard core KT haters have positive things they like about the IPT, so what are the top 3 things you like about the IPT outside the huge money (which might have been too much too soon anyway) and we all like huge money, thats a given. 1. A distinct number of touring pros, a...

This actually makes the most sense with the checks.

This problem with the IPT could be many things, and everyone is just speculating, (me too) But I love all those that say it's so easy to just write checks for 3,000,000. Truth is, the government is already got a spotlight on KT, when he starts putting up 3 million in prize funds for pool...

Ranking of woman of the IPT, about what I thought.

Well, now we have a much better idea of just how hard it's going to be for the women to compete, and many surprises have happened since I first posted the question before the tour started. http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=19049...

Emerson Electronics signs on as a sponsor!

News is on the main page, not bad, seems to me the sponsorship will just grow and grow from here. With the live coverage on Eurosport, and the TV coverage on Versus (OLN), it should generate more and more interest. Overall, I feel this is just the start, I feel it's just a matter of time...
