Mezz 3/8-8 wavy joint vs. 3/8-10.

I bought a 30 inch mezz 3/8-10 ignite shaft from mezz usa. I have 4 cues that have the 3/8-10 pin, 3 of my cues the pin is to big to screw on and the other cue it won't screw alway down. Is 3/8-8 a thinner pin from mezz? I'm thinking this shaft was labeled wrong? Thanks Louie

I received my cue from him about 3 weeks ago and I have been very impressed with fit and finish and I can't rave enough about how solid the cue is and he did everything I wanted. cue question

My friend has and older cue from 60's or 70's unknown, I don't have any pictures right now. The cue has a 3/8-8 wood to wood with a white joint that is yellowish color but I don't think it is ivory. My question is how many cue makers back then used this joint screw 3/8-8? Thanks for any help. Louie

    Uncored forearm

It is my time to order my Southwest and I was wondering what the Cuemakers on this forum thought would be the best combinations of woods for a uncored forearm and points? I like a hard hit with good feedback I was thinking Ebony but wasn't sure if it would hit very well uncored? Thanks.
