My 9 ft Diamond Professional (table is 11 years old) that I just bought and had set up plays much slower than my 7 ft Diamonds that I have. I ordered the same rubber as I have on the 7 ft tables and I have 860 HR on all the tables including the 9 footer. What would make it play slower?

I know I have seen a thread on this but I have searched and can't find it. I bought a 9 ft Diamond and before I get it re assembled, I want to re finish the wood. Looking for the best method. I have some Lacquer and was thinking of sanding and applying. Any thoughts?

I re-covered my 8 ft Dynamo about 6 months ago with 860. I did it myself with the advice of a retired table mechanic. It is loose. I didn't do a good job. Can it be re-stretched and glued back? Or should I bite the bullet and buy new cloth?

On this 8 ft Dynamo, all of the bolt holes on one of the rails have been re-drilled about 1 bolt hole over. Any idea why some one would have done this? Will this complicate putting new rails on?

I have an old 8ft Dynamo that I have taken apart. I have to replace the braces under the slate, replace the cushions and recover. What is a middle of the road cloth to install. I will probably resale the table.
