    Id like to know what are some of the techniques people are using for burnishing the tip. Ive always just used some water and a piece of leather to burnish my tips. I've tried Porper's tip burnishing liquid but didnt like that it dyed the tip. The water seems to work fine, but I want to achieve...

    Glue side on tips?

    A quick question.... Tips all have a "glue side" usually embossed with its logo or name. My question is does it really make a difference to use this side? If you must sand and prep before gluing, doesnt that usually make it almost the same surface as the "tip" side?

    Best glue for tips??

    I am going to start re-tipping my own cues for my own interest. I will probably keep my main shooting shaft tip professionally installed until i feel comfortable on my installation, not wanting the tip to fly off...which Ive seen many times. I plan to also re-tip players at the local pool hall...
