    3/8-10 pin feeler

At the moment, this is a feeler for an extended 3/8-10 pin. The pin has a longer locating barrel for added weight. The first one I weighed came out at about .45 oz heavier. I'm sure some can see pros and cons with the design but like I said, this is just a feeler at the moment. Thanks in...

    Another National tournament question

It appears that my regular team was going to be short for the BCAPL Nationals team event. I wasn't going to go but cue income has been better than average lately and I need a so-called vacation. So it looks like I'm committed. Any other cue makers headed out there want to get together for a...

    UV finish

So I'm down to my last 2/3 of a gallon of finish and tried to place an order. Come to find out that the company does not exist anymore. Any leads on a tried and true UV finish that someone would like to share? I have gotten some samples but am not satisfied yet. Looking for non yellowing...

Asking for advise on drum sanders.

I've decided to take the plunge on a new drum sander. What are your thoughts, fellow all knowledgeable AZ'ers? I'm looking for something that has not made you want to throw it out in the street. A minimum thickness for inlay slabs and less is preferred. So far I'm leaning towards the Grizzly...

Recommended 10" table saw blade for ripping maple?

Like the title says, Recommended 10" table saw blade for ripping maple? I just picked up approximately 1,400 board feet of aged Michigan maple originally Milled in 1966. I don't mind paying for quality, just need something that might make It through this project. Thanks, Mike

    Another shaft cutting thread

A little while back I asked on another thread http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=293274 if anyone had tried these. Apparently the answer was no or was overlooked. So I decided to take the plunge and order some to try myself. I never get the opportunity to contribute much to these...

    Chinese radial type tap

I have a friend who owns a billiard supply store. Years back he bought a dozen Fierce eagle cues in which most had shrunk, warped,....you name it. Basically they are unusable. I am trying to help him recoupe part of his loss by removing the pins and making a homemade (bastard import radial...
