my friend brought this over last night and he was curious what it was. hand me downs get me all the time because the nostalgic side of my brain is shut down.

i was just curious what was out there. was thinking about satin or purposely dulled finishes for cues. would love to see some pics of what you guys have and maybe some opinions on the feel and durability of the finish.

ive got a nice size chip in the finish of my jacoby break cue about half a dime in diameter. the chip goes all the way to the wood. no damage to the wood itself thank god for laminated wood. my question is, can i do something to the area until i can get the money together to get it fixed?
