    Cue Storage

Hello all, I just read a thread re: taper roll (http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=236522) and now am feeling that non-straight cue paranoia. What's the best practice for storing cues at home? I typically just keep them in the case and try to keep the case as vertical as possible...

WTB 2 sets of cheap (~$10 shipped) joint protectors for the two joints shown in photo. Even if you don't have one for sale I would really appreciate if you can tell me what the threads are for these two joints... cho

    WTB: 360 Purecue action trainer

Seen here: http://www.gravitycue.com/ Surely someone must have already developed a permanent dead stroke with it and now has no need for it. I'd prefer it to be the 2-piece US pool version, but would consider the 1-piece or the snooker version as well. cho

    Radial versus Uniloc Radial

Is there a difference between these two pins? If Uniloc Radial is just a Radial pin minus the first few threads, then would a Uniloc Radial shaft fit on a Radial butt and vice versa? What about differences in hit?

    Error: does not compute

I posted this link in another thread...don't know if you guys had seen this already, but thought it'd be cool to share. Maybe it's time for Niels Feijen to give up his nickname. http://geeks.thedailywh.at/2011/06/05/pool-playing-robot-of-the-day/#more-17399

    WTB: Moosehead bridge--Thick

A while back a league mate won a thick (~1/4 - 1/2 inch) moosehead bridge as a prize from a tournament. Does anyone know where I can buy one for myself?

Stances with different heights for different shots

I just noticed that for rail bridges or follow shots, I feel more comfortable when I bend my knees a little bit less and my stance a little bit higher. This seems to make sense to me--it seems necessary to maintain a level cue when you're cueing higher--but is it normal or fundamentally sound?

    How to conduct a trade

Don't know if this thread is better for the main forum or wanted/sale... I've never done a trade on AzB before. What would be the best procedure for a trade to ensure that both parties are protected in case of disagreements? For purchases, I feel comfortable using credit card on PP with the...

WTB weight bolt for Fury JB

I'm looking for a new weight bolt for a Fury JB (JB-RW) to decrease the weight of the butt. I bought this from Cuesight-- http://www.cuesight.com/fu05wb.html --only to find that it's not even close to fitting the threads. The weight bolt I took out is approximately 9mm in diameter, 55mm in...

    Warmup Routine

Any suggestions on how to effectively warm-up before a practice session/competition? A routine that's been working for me before each practice session is to roll 10 balls on the table, and just start shooting them all in with ball in hand after each miss. Rather than focusing on results (i.e...

    Hit: "Hard/Soft" vs. "Feel"

This is probably to sound like a dumb question to many of you, but every time I read AZ'ers using these adjective to describe the hit of a cue, I'm a bit lost. What exactly do these adjectives mean? I had thought that the firmness of a hit describes the amount of vibration transferred to the...

    Instructor in SoCal (Orange County)

Hello all, longtime reader first time poster. Can you guys recommend a good pool instructor in the Southern California (Orange County) area? And can you give me an idea of what a fair rate might be? I am an APA 4/5 with decent fundamentals (the stroke looks better than the results hehe), have...
