    Cloth tear/wear in pocket

My Legacy table with Legacy Speed Cloth. 4 months old. Installers said there was nearly enough cloth and had to stretch really hard. Now this. Is this a warranty claim? Standing at the head rail it is the left foot pocket which collects the majority of shots. (Does everyone favor a pocket?)

    Rail hop

My end rails cause balls to "hop" when they rebound. Where on the ball should the edge of the rail touch? Do I need to adjust the rails? My table is a Legacy with K66 rails.

The path of a cue to you

I like McDermotts so I watch for them on ebay. Two of my sticks have been won from pawn shops. The first was a M12A that had its butt cap cracked and was obviously used a lot by who ever owned it. It felt great to get it and see it refinished. Today I received a Green Dubliner and I am a...

    Ping Bob Weisinger, anyone?

I am looking for an old pool playing friend, he should be about 60. Grew up back East but was last seen in Oklahoma City in the early 70s. He beat me like a drum.

    McDermott Balicini

This stick is great fun. I am using a McDermott maple shaft to shoot with and it plays very well. Does anyone know who Balicini was and why they wanted McDermott to build a graphite stick for them?

    Mad as a Hatter

... are cue makers the new Hatters? Are there dangerous fumes involved in cue making that could kill brain cells? And, meant with as much levity as possible ... is there a support group for cue makers?

Service is more than a word

I bought this stick on ebay with a horrible crack in the butt plate. I sent it to McDermott to pay to have the butt plate replaced, instead the treated me as an original owner and refinished the entire stick under warranty... and fit my new G Core to the joint even though I bought it from...

    Rack and "kitchen" lines?

I was in a cue maker's pool room the other day and his tables have a line across the table at the 2nd spot, (my son tells me this denotes the kitchen?, never heard that term), and a line from the rack to the center diamond at the foot for aligning the rack. I am terrifyingly ignorant about...

    Historians please

I know these are very inexpensive sticks but I am curious about when Wilson made cues. I paid $30 for the matched pair.

    Why are box cases out?

As I have been returning to pool after 25 years I have been puzzled by the lack of nice box cases. I have always preferred them. Is there something evil about them that I missed? I wish I had several of this one.

I just got what I thought was an older Viking but the veneers are plastic/vinyl. When did plastic show up in cues? thanks

What specs do you keep on cues

I have been trying to create a "chart". What I have been keeping seems functional as far as comparing some characteristics of my sticks but I imagine the chart is missing some catagories. What do you all keep track of, do you post it in your poolroom?

    Cloth too tight?

I bought a Legend. It has the Legend Speed Cloth. The faces of the corner pockets seem to have a bit of radius to several of them. Can cloth be too tight and cause the rail face to distort? Thanks
