Hi. I have some wood from my property I'm going to be sending to have cut so that it can dry. I'm planning on having a cue made from the blanks. I'm wondering what size they need to be (or what cue makers like to start with) I dont want to come up short, or not the right diameter to begin with...

Hi. I'm looking for a nice predator sneaky. I have a test hit butterfly custom from a local cue maker (its nice, shoots great) that I just dont play with. I'd rather see some young person, or a person looking for their first custom get it. I need the pred for beating around on league night. Thanks.
