This is a Z2 ferrule that I've faced the tip and fiber pad off. I'm sure at the center it's a hole with glue, but I don't know what the concentric ring is. Could be it's a center piece separate from the sleeve, or it's a groove cut in the face of the ferrule. Does anyone know? Thanks, Rodney
