    Winning from opponents mistake.

I don't like it. At all. Tonight I had a really good match and it was very close. My opponent was on the 8 and I had one ball left. I played safety and blocked the 8 with my ball. The guy tried to break it out but when doing so he scratched and I won as a result. I didn't feel very good...

BS drama and pool. Do they go hand and hand?

So I play pool to relax and get away from stress. I enjoy the game and admire the physics, geometry and strategy involved. I'm on 3 APA teams which are all in either first or second place. I'm winning most of my games but it doesn't feel very gratifying when people are complaining and...

what to do with old lamenet

I was doing a restore on an 87 valley and am pretty much done. I'm now nit picking for something else to do. The lamenet on the rails were kinda dull so I wanted to make them shiny again. made up a pool game with some friends. thought I would share.

Shooting around one day I had a basic idea for a new game. Making the rules as we played it a few times I thought I would share it and see if anyone has heard of something like it before. I call it 120. It's a points based game and the minimum objective is 120 per player. The objective score...

got myself a 93" valley table that needs work

So I came across a free valley table that has seen better days. Ive got new felt and am ordering new cushions. Im going to remove the slate soon to clean out the insides from the years of felt dust and cigarette butts. I would also like to cover the return system with a thin matting to make it...

I'm pretty new to all of this. Advice for refelting

Hello, I've never played pool up until about 6 months ago. I've taken quite a liking to it and admire the challenge of controlling the physics and geometry all while using strategy. I joined my local APA league and practice when I have time. Recently I came across a free table on craigslist...
