    Thorsten a New Member?

I don't blame you. I spoke to him once and he just looked at me like I had two heads or something.

The Real Reason For New "master's Dates

I don't have a dog in this fight, but didn't they sell out in Orlando.

IPT website poll for the KOTH

When this is all over, I expect there will be a bunch of very disapointed Allison fans.

    Ipt,,,,,,,,,,the Draw

I've heard that Scotty used a fairly unconventional one pocket strategy. I have never saw him play the game though. It is a sight to be seen when he really lets his stroke out and catches a gear.

    Ipt,,,,,,,,,,the Draw

I don't think Scotty was picked to play in this tournament. When his time comes, I will be pulling for him. I know Scotty has it in him, and would love to him do well with this tour.

What do you think you will score??

I continued playing this game for a few months, after last years invitational. Even with the one hundred rack version, I had some back to back variations by as much as a hundred points. The best 100 rack set for me was 921, but I was on track for a 1200 at the halfway point a couple of times...

is there a "prize" for worst performance?

I posted one of, if not the lowest score last year. I like to think there may have been someone worse who didn't have the balls to post up.

    IPT Orlando

Call it what ever makes you feel better, but this event is a month away, tickets are being sold, and the contract on the location hasn't been signed yet.

    IPT Orlando

I wish you the best. I live thirty minutes from the convention center, but can't bring myself to cough up the cash for a ticket until I know the location is secure. If the event is confirmed through the convention center before it sells out, I will be there.

    IPT Orlando

I just took another look at the Orange County Convention Center's website. There is nothing about the IPT event listed in their calender of events. Has anyone confirmed that the location is actually reserved?

Moving need to know where the best places to play are...

The closest poolhalls to you will be BackStage Billiards on International Dr, and Trick Shots Metro West at the corner of Hiawassee, and Old Winter Garden rd. You won`t find much action at either place, but you can play free pool at either if you join one of thir APA teams. Plenty of...

I have a friend that has been known to stay up all night before a match or tournament. He feels that he plays much better on little sleep.

Scotty Townsend in the Hot seat in JimBob`s Gulfcoast Classic

Scotty has told me the toad story before. I grew up in the same area he did. I wouldn't really classify it as a swamp, although it was near a bayou. The reason he had such an insect problem was because the table he played on was in a tin shed. He also started playing by standing on a bucket...

    Putting in the Dagger!

It sounds to me like you may have answered your own question. Try staying in the present. You will never play your best if you are preoccupied with the outcome.

    Pool Rooms in Jacksonville, FL

I have played at BankShot Billiards a couple of times. It was during the early afternoon and the place was pretty dead. I'm not sure what the nighttime crowd is like. The equipment was ok, but not great.

Who is going to the Orlando Open?

I will be moving back to Orlando that week. If the move goes well, I might show up. I have a few friends in Orlando that are planning to play.

    Balance point question

My cue has the 3/8X10 wood to wood joint. I recently compared it to an almost identical cue from the same maker, with a steel joint. The steel jointed cue balanced about six inches more forward than my cue.
