    Cuelee’s Phantom Sword 3 Butt Mint/Perfect

I have a Cuelees Tyrant 2 and absolutely love it! Possibly the best cue in my modest 9 cue collection. Cuelees rocks! If this one was the Phantom Sword 1, by the way, I would probably pounce on it. I actually meant to buy it, but did a last second pivot to the Tyrant 2.

Cody Cash of PK Custom Cues did a bang-up job with a lizard print wrap on my McDermott!

Hi, I was going to buy a wrap from Superior Cues (He's got some nice ones) and have PK install it, but they never responded to my email, so I just went with what Cody had. Price included the wrap. I just gave him a simple description of what I wanted (Lizard print, a little shiny). He said he...

I just don't like the InFuze Kielwood shaft

Just the opposite for me. I have 8 cues I play and play well with, all with shafts ranging from standard maple to Kielwood to carbon fiber. My best playing cue is a McDermott with the PureX inFUZED 12mm shaft. I love that shaft and find it a delight to play with. I also have 2 other...

    My new GV Custom Cue!

Gaetano Virzi is the name, according to PayPal, but searching for that name doesn't do you any good. You have to use GV Cues where you will find social media for these cues. He does not have an official website.

    My new GV Custom Cue!

I just received this from Sicily on Friday and I must say I am quite impressed! Both in how it looks and in how it plays. Fit & finish are very good. The weight & balance are near perfect for my tastes (14.4oz butt & 3.4oz shaft) and I was able to shoot with virtually no adjustments needed...

I now have a Cuelees cue and am quite impressed with it!

I initially planned to buy the one you are talking about, the Phantom Sword 1. It was a last second pivot that made me choose the Tyrant 2 instead. I may still try to get the other next year.

They sell them at Seybert's. That's where I got mine.

one of a kind MCDERMOTT CUE

What if the information given is wrong or misleading? One of a kind means, or should mean, that there is not another one like it. I literally almost bought one new that looks just like it. By the seller's logic, every McDermott G224 is one of a kind because every one has a different piece of...

What is the reason behind your collection?

I have 10 cues of no real consequence in my modest collection, some from the United States, some from Asia & one from Ukraine (I have one from Italy on order) and each one is different from the next. I cannot comprehend the pleasure enjoyed by those who have multiple examples of the same cue...

I now have a Cuelees cue and am quite impressed with it!

This is the Tyrant 2. I've been impressed with Cuelees' designs for some time now, and the report is that you get great quality & detail for the price. This cue supports that report fully, in my opinion. I wish I had ordered a Cuelees sooner: I may order another in the future. It plays...

I stopped by Shon Harding's house (Spanky's Custom Cues) to get a wrap put on and I bought a cue while there...just not one of his.

While he was putting a wrap on my Sawdust cue, he let me hit some balls on his table with some cues on the wall rack. These included a Jim Pierce cue & one from Cody Cash of PK Custom Cues (both so freaking good!), as well as a couple made by Shon himself and this cue, made by his son...

    I'm sure it's nothing special, but...(Cue ID)

The ONLY reason I'm even asking about what I feel is probably just some old cheap cue is that many years ago I saw a picture of a cue on a cue collector page somewhere that looked remarkably similar to this one. I cannot remember the page, the maker that was listed, the value or anything other...

A cue you might want to sell later...should you leave it in clear plastic it shipped in?

Chops Mfg, a company that specializes in taking old skateboards and recycling them into art & such. They collaborated with McDermott in 2021 and made a cue from recycled skateboards (see photo). It sold in limited numbers for just over $400. Some are selling now for up to $1,600. Whether...

A cue you might want to sell later...should you leave it in clear plastic it shipped in?

A silly question, perhaps, but the McDermott/Chops cue I ordered arrived today. I buy cues to play, not save, but I figure I'll wait and see what happens with this one. Should I leave it in the packaging it shipped in or would it be prudent of me to take it out and inspect it for any...

I made a small donation...and got a cue. I rather like it! Shuriken Butterfly Effect System cue.

I paid $175 total for cue, upgrade & shipping, so maybe $50 for the upgrade? I can't remember the specifics. The cue comes standard with some metric joint system that I assume is common there, so if you want radial, 3/8x10 or Uni-Loc you have to specify and pay extra. The G-10 makes sense...

I made a small donation...and got a cue. I rather like it! Shuriken Butterfly Effect System cue.

I stumbled upon Shuriken Cues (out of Ukraine) somewhere, maybe even here, and I find a lot of their designs beautiful & interesting. I was curious about them, but didn't want to spend upwards of $450 to satisfy that curiosity. Low & behold, there's an option to donate $100 to Ukraine causes...

    Brass joint collar size?

I have this old Adam cue with a brass joint collar. This cue hits very well, but is just a tad forward balanced for my tastes. I was hoping to change things a bit by replacing the brass with something lighter. Is this feasible? If so, can anyone guess or tell me the size here and where I...
