    The true cost of hustling

So you do make a point, it is the new players thats going to spend money helping the pool industry. But how is it a hustle if one of those old players you mentioned went up to a newbie and challenged them to a money game?

Who thinks earl called the 2

I seen one of the few videos floating around fb, the point is this we all new which ball Earl was going for. That being said if Earl did call the 2 ball and pocketed the only ball that made sense which was not the two, the rules stated you must call your shot. Now if he said 2 I dont blame Shaw...

Anyone knows a cue that hits like the pre-dot Meuccis?

I think most of the old Classic shafts were made with the triangle hard tip like I said they are still available for purchase. I think a little bit later and the more higer end models were the LePro hard tips.

    Superstitious?

I have my ritual before I go shoot at a table, I would not go as far to call it a superstition. And no I do not want to trade you a nice cue for five crap cues, but good luck with all that lol.

    Question about the APA

My experience with the APA so far has been negative They said they would have a league operator call me and they never did, then I called and complained and got a call with the head of the APA in my area and also a guy on the line just looking to fill his team spot. The league may have been ok...

Anyone knows a cue that hits like the pre-dot Meuccis?

You can still order the meucci classic shafts (NO DOT) through budget billiards. If I remember correctly they are about $170.00 I also here the new Pro Shaft they make was closer to the classic shafts that one is a little more expensive though

Meucci pro shaft vs Samsara true shaft

I have not played with one yet, but everything I hear about the Meucci pro shaft has been good. On the Meucci FB page they were saying how the pro shaft is closer to the classic shafts they use to build. I really enjoyed shooting with the classic shaft, so I cant wait to get a pro shaft.

Question about McDermott cues with sharp points and veneers. Are they more desirable?

Go to mcdermotts retired cue page, see what they have made. Go to the current line and take a look at what kind of cues they are making with points and veneers. Mcdermott cues will make you a custom cue however you want it done, you just have to have the $$$$ (Check out the custom cue page)...

    Dumb question one and two...

Sneaky Pete cues have there purpose. Some use them to hustle, some just use them because they like the plain look of the cue without all the bells and whistles. Could be a bunch of different reasons. You should be able to tell if someone is good or not by the way they play, unless they are...

    Name engraved on cue?

I have seen a few nice cues for sale, but would not buy them just because they had a name engraved on it. Really boils down to personal preference. If you want to put your name on a cue then go for it. It may hurt resale value or make it hard to sell in the future if you ever wanted to. On the...

    Dumb question one and two...

    1) The cue is the entire pool stick, The butt is the bottom half of the cue, the shaft is the top half of the cue. Butt + Shaft = Cue 2) Sneaky Pete cues are supposed to look like house cues, of course not all of them do. Some players even go as far as to scuff up sneaky pete cues just to...
