A few years later I left it in a restaurant along with my Mcdermott cue that was inside it. I was just sick about it. Needless to say I never got it...

    I saw him beat Terry Romine in milwaukee back in the seventies. Romine had him six to two going to seven nine ball for $800.00. Terry was getting pretty loud on the hill but missed the eight and never got back to the table. Very impressive player for the cash.

    I met George at the Cue Room in milwaukee in 1973. We became good friends. He was a very nice and generous person. A real class act. He sure played good for the cash. Talented and smart. RIP buddy.
