To clarify my concern is the 1/4 inch line of discolored wood next to the joint, over time could this blemish in the wood be an area of weakness and possibly crack with a change in humidity temp etc? Could it potentially affect its secondary market value?

This cue is three weeks old, does this flaw near the joint look like it could become an issue? Thanks in advance....
