    Trying to learn about splices

The points being inlaid with a 90 degree V groove is called a half splice. Not sure what a short splice is, but I'd assume it's the same thing as a half splice.. ie. Now you can just inlay something and make it look kind of like a half splice, but usually you'd only do that if the material you...

    Clear coating polished metals

Curious if you guys have any tricks or techniques or specific products you use that maintains the highly polished look of a metal inlay once the clear coat is applied. I typically use automotive clearcoat, but I've also experimented with cyanoacrylate and epoxy and have gotten pretty similar...

    Dyed veneers

Do you guys have anywhere aside from Atlas to get brightly colored, reasonably thick veneers? Atlas isn't horrible, but I wish they had more colors available.. I've had a lot of difficulty finding certain colors and if I do find anything they're usually really thin and often not very vibrant...

    Cuelees cues, anyone tried them?

Have seen these cues in Vegas the last couple years and tbh, they're the nicest cues of any vendor there... They're beautiful cues, but can't comment on how well they play. Great price point though... Some Chinese stuff is pretty well made these days -- just look at Rasson.

    Traveling with your cue

The best way in my experience is to get a 36" rolling duffle bag and use it to store all of your luggage and your cue case. Just check the one bag, but be careful to ensure it doesn't weigh over 50 lbs... It's not too hard to keep it under 50, but it's also not too hard to get over 50, so keep...
