I have two Joss playing cues. Every once in awhile I'll bring out the Meucci. In total, I own 5. I had both Joss cues made with dash rings so they can be swapped with the cues. One's traditional maple, the other an HP natural.

Joss used a brown implex joint. My OP42c20 showed a brown joint before Stephen built the cue.

I played with my Meucci for years. It has a 12mm shaft. I ordered my Joss with a 12.5mm shaft (I hadn't measure the Meucci yet) and realized it's fatter. I still haven't gotten used to the bigger shaft size. I am committed though. I ordered an HP natural Joss 12.5mm shaft to see if that...

I really like my m3 Meucci. It was my first good cue. (I thought the Mizerak was a good cue until I played with the Meucci.) Pre-dot maple shaft, 12mm pro taper.

Have you tried the HP shafts? I'm wondering if it'll be a noticeable difference.
