    Woods for cues?

Does it make any sense to track down the wood I want myself and give it to the cue maker to use, or should I just rely on them for that? I have family that travels internationally pretty regularly and could probably get what I want locally, but I'm not sure if that makes sense. As a cue maker...

    Woods for cues?

I have been looking at Sapele, too. If I did that instead of the Malle burl, and curly maple instead of the quilted, would that be a better combo for ease of construction and a solid player?

    Woods for cues?

On a side note, I really wish there was a comprehensive (or as close as one could get within reason) cue design website. I know McDermott has one, but it is really limited. Click and drag different woods, create veneer patterns, wrap options, joints, collars, etc. I don't have the capability...

Thinking classic Titlist veneers with a white w/green wrap.

    Woods for cues?

Starting to sound like my eyes may be bigger than my stomach, or in this case my wallet, haha. I've got a local guy that made my current cue, but I'm not sure if he has much experience with the types of wood I'm looking at. If he doesn't, I'll have to start looking around a bit more. BTW, if...

    Woods for cues?

I should add that the cue will have a wrap, so it wouldn't be a full splice with the burl.

    Woods for cues?

I am currently in the process of designing a cue to be made. However, I'm getting a little bogged down with all the different wood options. I keep reading different things about how one wood is a "good hitter", while others are more just for aesthetics. I am considering getting a four-point...

    Titlist cues worth the hype?

I’ve heard great things about Titlist/Titlist conversions but I’ve never hit one. Are they worth trying to find one? Do they hit that much better, or is it more about the scarcity? I love the old school look (who knew purple, green, and orange could look so good together?), but if it isn’t a...

Derby City 2006 one pocket results?

Anyone know if there is a place to find these? I can find the top 2 but that's it. Trying to find more than that (a full bracket would be awesome, but i have a feeling that doesn't exist anywhere). Anybody got an ideas?

I'm looking to move this cue. Radial Pin, ivory ferrule. 18 oz, shaft is 3.75. Great hit, just looking to change things up. Cory built it late 2004.
