At my pool room, we have a very reasonable monthly rate for us regulars. When people come in who aren't serious players and just want to hit 'em and drink a few, I remind people that they are the ones who are subsidizing our cheap pool.
Not to derail the thread, what about playing somebody that listens to earbuds while they play....and sings along with the music sometimes. They don't sing while I'm shooting though.
I agree with this, but to be fair, it looks like Frost didn't do anything but concede the last game. Apparently the score was wrong on the video. I don't want get something like that wrong about any player.
JJ is probably my fav. Scott Frost dos a nice job of one pocket. I'm trying to learn the game so his insights are welcome to me. I also enjoy listening to Allison Fisher do commentary. My least favs are the guys that eat and just talk about things not related to the match, like the guys that do...
I just saw a video where Scott Frost conceded a 9-ball match to Morra when he was behind 6-3 in a race to 9. Is this a common thing at DCC? Are we being too harsh on Shaw?
Damn you to hell. I used to like listening to Grady, I never noticed the whistling before. Now it's all I hear.
My friend did the same thing to me with Stevie Nix. I loved her music until he said she sounded like a sheep. I was done from then on. Now all I hear is baaaaaaa baaaaaaaaa.
:)

Hmmm, you could be right. I have been querying the best players from my room and so far they have all said always the object ball. I probably extrapolated this to instructors.
All,
I have practicing shooting off the rail and when tree topped over a ball. I have found that looking at the cue ball instead of the object ball has increased my success on these shots.
I also look at the cue ball when I break.
We are taught to always look at the object ball when we...
