That’s kind of the worry I have. It’s not something that people really handle since it’s in a display case but things do happen. It kind of a pool history item too.
Not too many times a BCA hall of famer autographed cue is seen. May not have the value type of many other sports but to the pool world it may even someday have a value. Likely best not do anything as far as clearing it but to keep it in a display for future generations
I guess my thought is that I would hate to see anything happen to it. Maybe better to build a special display case just for this one cue that is sealed a bit better than the case my own cues are in.
Lol I actually have a bulk box of masters blue and when I see used up cubes will leave a new one in its place… I mean really how much does it really cost anyway… I usually have 10 new cubes in my case
My buddy Jimmie Pierce of Pierce cues would be only one I would trust to clear it. We will for sure do some testing on similar material using same pens etc.
This may not be the place for this but here goes… would like to hear from everyone anyways. I have a personal cue from Mike
Massey that I am never going to part with but need to get opinions on whether or not I should clear coat over the signature? I picked up this cue a few years ago while...
Inherited and old Adam cue from a buddy that passed recently. Cue is not super valuable except to me. Its an old STR-3. Missing the rubber bumper. Anyone able to help me out?
Who has a reasonable priced titliest conversion out there?? Wrapless preferred but will look at all. I have a butt if someone wants to convert it. My local builder is too busy to get to mine.
]I have a cue here that I recently acquired due to myself looking for a Masse cue to play around with. I asked this fellow player that shoots trick shots if he had one he would sell. Well he didn't have one right off but said he might be able to find one in his car. I didn't expect him to part...
Take your time and be careful with the screws. Doesn't take much to strip out the heads. Most of the screws that you are going to find will be slotted heads not Phillips. Make sure you are using the correct size screw driver or bit. Do not over tighten when doing re-assembly really easy to split...
What's out there?? Really like the Diamond Billiards racks.... but dang they are proud of those. Maybe someone has one used that wont cost an arm and a leg. What about the vintage Brunswick racks?? They any good??
