Has anyone seen cue work like this before?

Yep. But I'm thinking that he's wondering if he could sell them here... I agree, there's a lot of inlay work in that cue. I disagree with the "quality" of the inlay work... YMMV and beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

    NEW Bulletproof Synthetic Playing Tips.

I have the hard on my "trunk cue". It sits in the trunk of the car "just in case". As such it gets played very infrequently but leather tips tended to get dry and hard in that environment, which is why I decided to try the synthetic. So far it's worked well, but the infrequent use hasn't...

Time and effort required to reach Fargo 400, 500, 600

Nor does it factor natural ability. I'd argue that regardless of effort and coaching, a significant % of the population is simply incapable of playing at a 500+ level. Far less at a 600 level...

How far would you travel for league?

We live a bit on the outskirts and travel about 30 highway miles. Only 35 minutes door to door but we do the round trip twice a week and one Sunday a month. Absent any extras like playoffs and/or tournaments, it's still 540 miles and 10.5 hours a month... Good USAPL and BCA leagues and a...

What Is The Best Jump Cue?

Ask 100 people and you'll get 100 different answers… My personal favorite is the Propel, but if you like a dart stroke it's really hard to beat the Jacoby Jumper for a third the price…

    8 ball break

    8 ball break

What rule set is that? I've never heard of an 8-ball rule set where the player who breaks does not continue to shoot if he made at least one ball on the break. The only difference lies in whether the table remains open after balls of a single suit are made on the break or if he is...

    Tournament administration fees

As long as it doesn't slow down or affect the management of the tournament itself... There was nothing worse than having to wait for a TD to finish a match before he can figure out the next round… 😑

    Question on "throw".

Putting draw on a cue ball can transfer a bit of top/follow to an object ball. Occasionally useful if you want to follow that OB into a pocket behind another ball, but I don't know if that's what you had in mind and I don't know that I would necessarily call that "throw"...

    Drama at the Junior's event?

We have a solid youngster down here. Probably 12 now and a 550 Fargo. He can get a little cocky. I was playing in a local tournament awhile back when he was getting a little chirpy playing against an adult and I watched his dad grab him by the throat and tell him if he didn't settle down, be...

Highest percentage way to shoot this with BIH, playing Back Pocket 9 Ball

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that needs to take that seriously… Probably about three balls apart and dead straight. About a half tip or so of follow as if my only goal in life is to make the cue ball itself. Roll it...
