Hey all, I bought this about 2 years ago thinking I'd like to get back into pool after not playing for 25+ years. I just don't play it (maybe 100 games total since refelting). It's turned into a place to fold laundry. LOL I had it re-felted by a one armed guy and his son (I forget their names)...

Yea, it was a nostalgia thing for me. I'm 54 and played on a GC a lot when I was late 20's, early 30's. I thought I'd play it a lot now but it's turned into a place to fold laundry. :confused: It works really well for that though! LOL If I sell the pool table, I'll have room for 5 pinball...

thats a great idea IF I had a flat ceiling. Mine is a cathedral type ceiling so I'd need the fixture to hang down, flat above the pool table.

I got these & have no clue if they are the "right ones". Bill told me to get them. I dunno what to do with them now. LOL. But at least I have them...

In my effort to find a unique light, I ended up in touch with bill gibbs the pool cue/guitar maker. I had a pair of vintage stereo speakers listed on ebay that he wanted. He reached out and asked if I was into POOL & would I be interested in a trade. Weird coincidence huh? Anyway, we made a deal...

I'm hoping someone here figured out which minwax stain color is the closest match for GC2 skirts or can tell me what the original finish is called. It's quite dark. Building a light to match the GC2 and need to match the skirt color on to the wood frame of the light. Thanks for any help.

This? It is like WOW and probably works great but has no character. However, this does give me an idea! I could buy a used tanning bed and take the top half off & hang it above my pool table! ;)

Agreed but it's kind of "plain" looking. I was hoping to get some inspiration and ideas for something a little more "striking" and unique.

I am having a woodworker build me a pool table light for my gold crown 2. He's asking me for ideas on what I'd like it to look like and I don't even know?! I think it would have some exotic woods and maybe bronze accents to go with the GC2's feet and maybe ivory color to go with the skirts...

Yea he did say to me that you alone were the reason he got banned from azbilliards. I edited that earlier post because who knows, maybe he can afford a lawyer and has time to mess with that. I don't need the hassle. Not that I said or did anything even remotely wrong or illegal. I was joking...
