    cue makers actually taking orders

I have a Josey from 2009, I keep going back to it. Keith and Chris Nitti both have a firm hit. Their tapers are similar. I think they are both easy to work with but Keith and Sherri are just pleasant and straight shooters. no pun intended

Mass Shooting At Maine Pool Hall & Bowling Alley

PJ Have you ever wondered why cities and states with restricted carry laws have the most gun violence? Oh I know, that would require letting go of your entrenched political positions.

    ivory pool balls

I have a friend who thinks she has a set of ivory pool balls. She inherited a table, balls and one piece cues from her Dad who purchased these in early 1960's. She thinks the items were old when her Dad got them. Does anyone have information about history of ivory balls and the value?

Best hitting cue you ever played with.

I have enjoyed all my cues. Started with a house cue in 1964-68 during high school. College and work took 20 years. In mid 80's Meucci, then Schon, then Josey. Really felt good about Schon and Josey. Currently I am always going back to a Lambros I got about a year ago. So Lambros is...

Mueller’s Sneaky Pete- are they as good as the old cues

Ryan built a couple of cues for me around 2006 or 7 when he was at Muller's. One was a full splice becote/BEM. It has a really great hit and he picked a piece of becote that he described as looking like smoke because the growth lines were so tight. It is beautiful. I would also add that...

    Dr. Dave Chalk shootout😃

I do not see any chalk residue on my cloth. If I really chalk up the tip I get a small spot on the cue ball and that is why I suggested a very light painting on the tip. Seyberts has some V10 as of last week.

    Dr. Dave Chalk shootout😃

I have the Pyro and the V10. The green V10 plays so clean you will not have a problem with green getting on your shaft, cue ball or your table. I like the pale green color. I am learning not to over chalk. Just a soft painting stroke of the tip is all that is needed. The v10 seems to cover...

    $4,000 New RC3 or Tonkin

I have bought 6 cues from JJcue. I got a Schon years ago and the rings were different than the web site picture. Brian took it back and sent me another cue with the rings I wanted. I have found them easy to deal with.

    Thom Pyro chalk

I agree Measureman, Predator is the worst. It seems almost oily to me. Gets the cue ball really dirty and I miscue more. Masters leaves a lot of chalk on the cue ball. Triangle is just as economical as masters and leaves less chalk. Taom is close to leaving no chalk. Even after applying a...
