    Wood types

Can anyone identify the types of wood in the points and butt? As far as I know it’s a one of one Schon during the Runde era.

How many still have the first cue they ever bought?

My first cues were two mid 80’s Schon cues, one sharp point and one cnc. Still play with both. They were my grandpa’s. He died when I was 14 and I got them at 21. His wife kept them that whole time hoping I would come get them. Bought a new Predator 16 years ago or so, just sits in a case...

SVB not playing in the Intl Open?

Someone posted a screenshot on Facebook a few days ago with him saying gone fishing. I didn’t see his actual post so I have no idea if it was a joke from him or someone spoofing his account.

    Runde cue

No problem. If you’re looking for a little cheaper Integrity Cues had a bridged point for $2550 not too long ago. Don’t know if he’s sold it yet.

    Runde cue

Biggelbach’s has a few, don’t know what your price range is. Also check out the Runde Cue Collectors on Facebook. Just seen a very nice 2013 put up the other day.

    It's not just us sandbagging!

Prize was actually $45k. Chump change compared to what they’ve won over the last couple of years.

    It's not just us sandbagging!

That’s pretty much what it is. My previous employer made a lot of textured deer feed for them kinds of places. My brother liked going there to see the racks and how they changed from year to year, but at the same time didn’t like the fact that someone was going to see a picture and say I’ll take...

    It's not just us sandbagging!

These guys have been under suspicion of cheating for the last couple of years. They finally caught them this time around. One of them can’t hunt in PA for quite a while for poaching an Amish guy’s trophy breeding buck. Climbed the fence at night, shot it and chopped the head off and left.

    Custom cue question

I guess I should have added without talking to original designer. That’s my bad.

    Custom cue question

Thanks all for the replies. I guess I wondered if there was common courtesy among custom makers that they didn’t like to do that.

    Custom cue question

I have a cue made from a reputable maker that has been in the family since the mid 80’s. Through all the research I have done it is most likely a true one of one. Said cue maker has retired and I’d like to have a remake made with a little twist from me in the veneer colors. Do I have to get his...

    Schon Cues by Evan Clark

I don’t know personally but I have read a lot of posts and comments on Facebook that say they are better. Some people believe the quality isn’t there anymore. Also played against a guy that had a 2019 LTD about a month ago and he absolutely loved it. It was a great looking cue but I didn’t ask...

    Monster cues?

Frankencue is another term I just learned about, I’ve seen some that look great and others that look tacky to me.

    Monster cues?

Thanks all for your replies, basically what I thought the term to mean is correct. I thought it would be subjective to the person that owns it or is going to buy it. I will say a lot of them are flat out beautiful and play great but I can’t justify spending $5-10k since I’d have to take a loan...

    Monster cues?

I feel I have as my grandpa’s cues are going to span 4 generations as my daughter is starting to love the game as I do. Now sell the boat and add an addition for a pool room so we can play every day.

    Monster cues?

I was just curious as I don’t ever plan on buying another cue unless I can find a way to get Mr. Runde to reproduce the two Schons from grandpa. To me these two are monsters since he, my father, myself, and soon enough my daughter has or will have played with them. Through what I’ve found...

    Monster cues?

I’m new to the term, never heard it when I was playing when younger. Only when I joined this site and groups on Facebook did I see it. What makes a cue a big or monster as I see a lot? Price, inlay design and materials? Maker? Very curious since I’ve only bought one in my life, my good cues I...
